Introduction

Located midway between Salt Lake City and Provo, Thanksgiving Point is a sprawling property with intricate gardens, waterfalls, streams, fountains, covered bridges, open lawns, and Italian inspired outdoor loggias. They offer a wide variety of full service wedding packages, and also allow customization so you can tailor their services to fit your day.

The crown jewel of Thanksgiving Point is Ashton Gardens, a 55 acre botanical garden with miles of meandering walkways and 15 different themed gardens. Ashton Gardens has two main outdoor wedding areas, the Italian Garden and the Rose Garden. If you’d prefer to be married in a different area of the gardens, you can choose a customized site for your festivities--perhaps in front of the largest manmade waterfall in the western hemisphere, or in the walled secret garden. There is also a large indoor wedding space that overlooks the gardens. The Garden Room allows for year round events and can accommodate a large group.

The Italian Garden

The Italian Garden is dominated by a grand open air staircase and cascading fountain surrounded by flowers. Tall trees and hedges on both sides separate this area from the rest of the gardens, making it both grand and intimate. There is a large open lawn at the foot of the staircase and fountain so that you can set up chairs for a ceremony or tables for a reception.

The Rose Garden

The Rose Garden is a large open space next to the Monet Pond, with a semi-circular arbor, climbing roses, and beautifully cultivated rose beds all around. There’s plenty of space on the lawn for a ceremony or reception setup.

Another beautiful area of the property at Thanksgiving Point is Water Tower Plaza. Here you’ll find shops, restaurants, and two lovely outdoor wedding venues tucked into private garden areas. There are also two spaces for indoor events, The Velvet Room and The Rose Room. The most romantic areas at Water Tower Plaza are the two outdoor wedding spaces in the Reception Gardens.

The Loggia

The Loggia is Thanksgiving Point’s most popular wedding venue. One side of the space is dominated by an elegant colonnade that makes a perfect backdrop. Tall trees on all sides enclose the space, a fountain runs through the center, and the far end of the loggia garden features flowering vines and arbors. In the center there’s room for a draped tent so that you can enjoy the space in any weather.

Hidden Falls

Hidden Falls is a secluded garden area surrounded by tall trees and flowers. A waterfall and stream run through the garden. There’s a gazebo, open lawn, and beautiful flowers on all sides. It’s the perfect space for more intimate groupings.
